A bit more progress

We are once again on the move having sorted a few things in the Watford area.
Jaq has her new glasses after the opticians had a second set of lenses made. Perhaps if they had not allowed the computer to determine the parameters of the prescription and had ground the lenses to  what Jaq`s eyes were asking for then all would have been good first time around.

Next was my pre op check for the trans-urethral resection of the prostate. That went well and all I now need to do is have the blood tests within 7 days of the surgery.

Being in Watford allowed friends and family to visit before we set off to London.  Blog reader Alistair made his second visit as he had business nearby, nice to see you any time Alistair.

Found some more wood next to a lock so having got busy with the chainsaw we lowered the boat in the lock and loaded the roof with ease.

Such a shame to see a boat left to the elements like this. My memory tells me the boat has been  moored here, I believe officially on the offside, for quite a few years.
Our wood stock for next winter is building up. It can all bask in the summer sun.

We have been moored in Cassiobury Park next to a golf course. This is closer to the town centre and the hospital.

Not the best mooring opposite the long term moorings but a few days here took a couple of cruising restraints off the list. Now we are free for the next 3 weeks so goodbye Watford as we leave Cassio lock.
