Lack of boat movement and the fact water is pumped up from below ground has resulted in the usual crystal clear water.
The recent high winds from the tail end of hurricane Gonzalo snapped this mature Ash tree. Amazing how quick it all disappears once a stoppage notice is published.
Jaq helps make the pile bigger. This is about half of our total cut so worth the journey.
We would also like to add our thanks to Robert on wb. Wind in the Willows who I missed off my last blog post(Jaq was not amused). Robert thanks for looking after the boat and topping up the batteries while we were at the Royal Free.
Aha, so Jaq is already competent with the chainsaw! How high is the boat's centre of gravity with that lot on board? M&Dxox
